At the Restaurant

Waiter: Hello, how can I help you?

Dad: Hello, I would like a table for four, please.

Waiter: Of course, please follow me. Here is a table for four.

Dad: Thank you.

 

Dad: Could you give us the menu, please?

Waiter: Yes, of course. Here you are.

Dad: Thank you.

Waiter: Can I get you anything to drink?

Dad: Just water for me.

Mom: I'll have a lemonade.

Daughter: I'll have a milk shake.

Son: I'll have an orange juice.

Waiter: Great, I'll be right back.

 

Waiter: Are you ready to order?

Dad: Yes, we are. I'll have the grilled chicken and a salad.

Waiter: Would you like a starter?

Dad: Yes, I'd like the vegetable soup.

Mom: For a starter.I'd like the vegetable soup for the main course. I'd like the grilled fish.

Daughter: I'll have the chicken soup and the lasagna.

Son: I'll have the chicken soup, the grilled chicken, and some salad.

Waiter: Excellent, I'll be right back.

 

Daughter: It smells so great.

Son: I am so hungry, and I want to eat, but the soup is so hot. I can barely touch it.

Mom: Wait for it to cool down before you eat it.

 

Dad: The grilled chicken tastes delicious, doesn't it, Paul?

Son (Paul): Yes, Dad, it does indeed.

Dad: What about your lasagna, Amy?

Daughter (Amy): I love it. It's my favorite dish.

Dad: Great.

Daughter (Amy): How's your fish, Mom?

Mom: It's excellent.

Mom: I'm so glad we came to this restaurant. Could you please pass me the salt, Paul?

Son (Paul): Here you are, Mom.

Mom: Thank you.

 

Waiter: Did you enjoy your meal?

Dad: Yes, it was wonderful, thank you.

Waiter: Would you like something for dessert?

Mom: Yes, for dessert, I'll have ice cream, please.

Daughter: I'll have the chocolate cake.

Son: I'll have ice cream.

Daughter: I'll have the cheesecake, please.

Mom: Everything looks great. Let's eat the desserts.

Son: Dad, I'm thirsty. I would like to drink some water.

Dad: Excuse me.

Waiter: Yes, sir, how can I help you?

Dad: Could you bring my son a glass of water, please?

Waiter: Yes, of course.

Dad: Thank you.

Waiter: Can I bring you anything else?

Dad: No, thank you. Just the bill.

Waiter: Okay, sir, I'll be right back with the bill.

Customer: Yes, I'd like a hamburger, french fries, and a salad, please.

Waiter: Anything else?

Customer: A coke, please.

Waiter: For here or to go?

Customer: For here.

Waiter: It costs six dollars.

Customer: Here you are.

Customer: Thank you.

Waiter: Hi, what will you have?

Customer 2: I can't stand the sweet flavor. I like it spicy and salty.

Customer 2: Pretty often, about three times a week. And you?

Customer 1: I rarely eat fast food, once a month. What is your favorite thing here?

Customer 2: My favorite food is taco, but I'm also crazy about the fried chicken sandwich. It's so tasty. How about you?

Customer 1: I prefer the chicken hamburger with fries and coke.

Customer 2: Great.

 

At Starbucks

Barista: Hi there! Welcome to Starbucks. What can I get started for you today?

Customer 1: Hey! I'll have a tall caramel macchiato, please.

Barista: Sure thing. Hot or iced?

Customer 1: I'll take it hot, thanks.

Barista: Got it. And for you?

Customer 2: I'd like a grande iced vanilla latte.

Barista: Alright, would you like it with regular milk or a different kind?

Customer 2: I'll go with almond milk, please.

Barista: No problem. Anything else for you guys?

Customer 1: Yeah, can I also get a blueberry muffin?

Barista: Absolutely. Is that everything?

Customer 2: That's it for us, thanks.

Barista: Great, your total is $12.50. Can I have your name for the order?

Customer 1: It's Emma.

Customer 2: And mine's Jake.
