이유 양보를 나타내는 접속사 (부사절)

A. 종속접속사 

: 주인과 종의 관계로, 접속사가 있는 절이 종이며, 그 절을 이어주는 접속사를 종속 접속사라고 부르며

그 절을 종속절(부사절)이라고 한다.

 

▶ 이유를 나타내는 접속사

 : becuase, as , since

~~~ 때문에

• "I couldn't sleep well last night because it was too noisy outside."
• "She didn't attend the meeting as she was feeling unwell."
• "He is late since his car broke down on the way."

 

▶ 양보를 나타내는 접속사

 : even though, though, although

~ 하더라도, ~ 하지만

 

• "Even though it was raining, they decided to go for a picnic."
• "Though he studied hard, he still failed the exam."
• "Although she was tired, she went to the gym."
