I am salty

우리가 매일 쓰는 말이다. " 나  짜증 나"

 

보통 우리가 화난다고 얘기할 때 쓰는 문구는

" I am angry"

" I am cross"

 

하지만 원어민들이 쓰는 더 자연스러운 문구는 I am salty  나 짜증 나!!!

 

 

예문 1

 

A: "Hey, did you see the grade I got on that assignment?"

B: "Yeah, I did. You seem a bit upset about it."

A: "I am salty because I studied so hard, but still got a low grade."

B: "I understand. Maybe you can talk to the teacher and see if there's any way to improve it?" 

 

A: "야, 나 그 과제 성적 봤어?"

B: "응, 봤어. 너 좀 화난 것 같아."

A: "내가 너무 열심히 공부했는데도 낮은 성적을 받아서 짜증이 나."

B: "이해해. 아마 선생님께 얘기해 보면 개선할 방법이 있을지도 몰라."

 

 

 

예문 2

 

A: "Why are you making such a fuss over losing a game?"

B: "I'm salty because I was so close to winning, but then I made a stupid mistake."

A: "Ah, I see. Well, it happens to the best of us."

B: "I know, but it's just frustrating." 

 

A: "왜 게임에서 지는데 그렇게 소란스럽게 굴어?"

B: "내가 이기려고 너무 가까워졌는데 바보 같은 실수를 했어서 짜증 나."

A: "아, 알겠어. 제일 좋은 사람들에게도 그런 일이 생기지."

B: "알아, 그래도 짜증나."

A: "What's wrong? You seem a bit grumpy today."

B: "Yeah, I am salty because I missed the bus and now I'm going to be late for work."

A: "That's frustrating. Maybe you can catch a taxi or something?"

B: "I guess I'll have to. Just not the best start to the day."

 

A: "무슨 일 있어? 오늘 좀 성미가 급한 것 같은데."

B: "응, 나 버스를 놓쳐서 지금 출근이 늦을 거야. 짜증나."

A: "그런 것 참 짜증 나지. 택시나 다른 방법으로 출근해 보는 게 어때?"

B: "그래야겠다. 그냥 하루 시작이 그렇게 좋지 않네."
